I saw Steel Panther for the first time ages and ages ago at the very first M3 Rock Festival in 2009. This was before they even dropped their first album ‘Feel the Steel’ and were one of the first bands to go up. I remember hearing my friend mention them in passing, but after busting out laughing at their set of ‘Girl from Oklahoma’ that day, I had to know everything about them. I made sure to see them each time they came into town, and fortunate for me, it was often. To date, I’ve seen Steel Panther more than any other band- about 4-5 times.
After a few of their sets, I managed to meet the band outside of their wigs and costume, but mostly became familiar with the bass player, Lexxi Foxx. Each member I met them, they were always super accommodative, generous, and welcoming. But each time I met Lexxi, he did favors for me I didn’t even ask for- Try to get me to meet the rest of the band, go back stage to get me autographs from them, even buy me a drink. Me, a scrappy, dime-a-dozen fanboy.
Any which way, they were always one of the best dressed bands with the most color lyrics currently on the circuit. These 5 posters were made to gift my favorite band to see live.
